Which corner of Barcelona is yours?
Guà rdia Urbana, 2024 — choose which to include in the score. Traffic, administrative & weather categories start off.
Directori de centres docents (Generalitat) — choose the ownership and levels that count. A centre stays visible if it teaches any ticked level. Everything starts on.
Open-air (descoberta), indoor (coberta) or unspecified. Untick to hide — the map dots and the neighbourhood ranking update together. Open-air pools are the bright cyan dots.
2025 · Guà rdia Urbana. Filter by outcome (the dot colour) and by transport mode — both apply together. A crash can involve several modes (car + pedestrian…), so it counts in each; the number on the right is accidents, with people hurt/killed beside it. Fatal only isolates the 11 deadly crashes. Untick to hide — the map dots and the neighbourhood ranking update together.

One ranking from everything you care about — weighted by you.
Every layer you tick becomes a chip, worded as a desired outcome — “Quiet nights”, “Higher income”. Place each chip in a tier: Top priority ×5, Matters ×3, Nice-to-have ×1. The multiplier is its weight. Tap a chip to move it down a tier (it cycles back to the top), or drag it. ⇄ flips a desire into its opposite (“Quiet nights” ⇄ “Lively · loud nights”); ✕ removes it from the formula.
For each desire, a neighbourhood earns 0–100: the share of Barcelona’s 73 barris it beats on that metric. Your fit is the weighted average — Fit 80 means that on what you care about, weighted how you care about it, this barri outranks about 4 of every 5 others. If a barri has no data for a metric, that metric drops out of its average instead of dragging it down.
“22→3,783 /km²” is that metric’s real spread across the city, from the lowest barri to the highest. It’s shown so you weight real differences: a metric where every barri is similar can’t move the ranking much, no matter its weight.
Weights are opinions, not measurements — so we re-rank 120 times with every weight nudged ±30%. Neighbourhoods that keep swapping places share a rank like 4–7: inside that band the exact order isn’t meaningful, treat them as equals.
Click any neighbourhood for the full receipt: each desire’s raw value, the share of barris it beats, its weight, and the pts it contributes. The points add up exactly to the fit score — nothing hidden.
